CANNOT UNINSTALL TREND MICRO TITANIUM MAXIMUM SECURITY

This happened to me when I'm configuring a new machine, Sony Vaio in Win7 32 bit OS, with pre-installed Trend Micro Titanium Maximum Security. Windows update is done, computer is running well but for some reasons, Trend Micro cant be removed so that installation of preferred antivirus can be done.
Steps:
A1. Go to Start type add or remove programs and click on it
A2. Highlight Trend Micro, click on Uninstall
On this process, it hangs to 0%.

Try the next steps:
B1. Go to Start\All programs\TrendMicro\look for Toolkit
B2. Run it and uninstall
Restart pc and it's gone!
What if you after A2 you cant see the Trend Micro on Start up items anymore?
C1. Go to My Computer
C2. Browse to C: drive\Program Files\Trend Micro\tool or toolkit
C3. Run the application and wallah!
Restart the pc and it's gone!

There are some applications over the net that will surely uninstall the antivirus, but along the process, it asks for me to purchase the uninstall software or to register the software itself, to my dismay, I have to look for another alternative.

How to uninstall YM when error "could not open install.log file" is showing?

Problem 1: I can't uninstall yahoo messenger from my vista OS pc, I have the error "could not open install.log" everytime I uninstall it.

What I did was to copy the install.log of yahoo messenger from my other laptop with XP OS and placed it in my vista os pc on C:\ProgramFiles\Yahoo\messenger folder.

When I went to Programs and Features to uninstall YM, it worked.

Problem 2: Yahoo is not opening once installed
I really hate Vista!

I have to close all applications and remove all the trash from my browser like IE (delete temporary internet files, cache, cookies and histories), delete the Messenger folder from C:\ProgramFiles\Yahoo. Restart the computer, download YM again and reinstall it.

"Windows cannot find a certificate to log you on network" error

1. Always check the updated version of your windows operating system, it should be the latest. From Service Pack 1 to 3, etc download the latest
2. Your router has a different range/radius vs the computer, when you checked the properties of that particular wireless SSID.

"Outlook is currently indexing your items. Search results may be incomplete because items are still indexed" error

It's not actually an error, it's like when you open Outlook 2007 and start using this feature to make your searching faster, this message comes out: "Outlook is currently indexing your items. Search results may be incomplete because items are still indexed". There are probable reasons why your outlook is behaving this way:

1. Your .pst files might be damaged. Use the scanpst option in your computer to scan your damaged pst files. For some reasons, I tried using this option in resolving pst files being corrupted but none so far resulted in repaired pst after scanning them. I dunno, but it's worth a try.
1A. After repair, open Outlook for an hour and see if Indexing is done. Double check through opening outlook, Tools, Instant Search, Indexing Status.

2. Your computer is indexing wrong item. check it through opening Outlook, Tools, Options, Search Options, Indexing section = select the data to index (tick it), then start indexing again.

The succeeding steps will rebuild or restore your indexing powers by doing this, if upon doing steps 1 & 2 didn't work:

3. TO RESET SEARCH OPTION
1. Close Outlook.
2. Control Panel
3. Indexing Options
4. Advanced
5. Rebuild button

4. TO RESTORE DEFAULTS
1. Click the Restore Defaults button below Rebuild.
I hope the guide will work for you.

Cannot start Microsoft Office Outlook. Cannot open the Outlook window. Invalid XML. The view cannot be loaded error

"Cannot start Microsoft Office Outlook. Cannot open the outlook window. Invalid XML. The view cannot be loaded." error. Have you encountered this kind of problem using your Outlook 2007? For my friends, they had. The one I've seen was that Outlook 2007 is opened, but clicking on anything doesn't respond. It says (not responding), and other tabs on that window is pure blank. So what are the solutions for these kind of problems?

1. Start outlook in safe mode by clicking on
Start >> Run >> type outlook.exe /safe
2. It might be because of some addins:
Start >> Run >> type outlook.exe /a
To remove addins: Tools >> Trust Center >> Addins >> in drop down menu select COM Add-ins, Go
Select those add-ins Remove
3. resetting outlook:
Start >> Run >> type outlook.exe /resetnavpane
4. By deleting the roaming directory:
C:\users\username\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Outlook WCS
5. Go to Add/remove programs, highlight Microsoft Outlook 2007, click on Change, then Repair, Continue. Wait until its done. Restart the computer then see if it works.
Other options are:
6. For Vista: Start >> Programs >> Accessories >> Command Prompt
Right click on command prompt Run as Admin
type the following: netsh interface tcp set global autotuninglevel=disable
This process is working in both Windows XP and Vista. I'd like to take note of the step #3 coz it really helped my friend a lot.

Windows cannot access \\.psf\Home\Desktop error message

Scenario: MacbookPro, Leopard (10.5), parallels dekstop installed, windows 7 installed. Windows were updated, same is true with other software in Mac, but you still have the error message.
The workaround for this is:
1) Start Parallels Desktop and start the virtual machine.
2) Navigate to 'Configure' and choose option 'Shared Folders' and uncheck both options 'Share Mac OS X folders with Windows' and 'Share all Windows disks to Mac OS X' then press OK.
3) Uninstall the Parallels Dekstop from where? From Windows Control Panel.
4) Then install Parallel Tools back from 'Virtual machine' on the menu bar of Parallels Desktop.
5)Close virtual machine then restart Mac, after shutting down on Windows 7.
6)Start Parallels Desktop and the virtual machine then navigate to option 'Configure' and choose Smart Guard then check the option 'Enabled' and choose OK.
Shut down Windows and Mac, then see if the problem occurs.
