HOW TO TRANSFER CONTACTS FROM NOKIA TO BLACKBERRY 2

In response to the previous post TRANSFER CONTACTS FROM NOKIA TO BLACKBERRY I have simplified the process below:
USING MEDIA CARD
1. @ Nokia, select all contacts, back-up to media card.
2. Connect the phone to computer, go to My computer and check Nokia's media card.
3. Navigate to Others folder and .vcf list are there
4. Open Outlook, delete all contacts, then select 50 items from .vcf list and drag and drop them at Outlook page.
5. 50 New contact windows will be opened on top of the other, click Save and Close 50x.
6. Repeat the process until all contacts from media card are transferred to Outlook.
7. Connect BB to computer, BDM (blackberry desktop manager) will open
8. Click Organizer, Configure Settings, check box Address Book/Microsoft Outlook,  OK
9. Click Sync at lower right. All contacts from BB and Outlook will merge.

USING GMAIL & OUTLOOK
NOTE: contacts and email contacts are separated in Gmail
1. Connect Nokia to pc, open Nokia PC suite
2. Select all contacts and export thru .csv to desktop
3. Open Gmail account, Click Gmail, Contacts, More, Import the file from desktop
4. Select all contacts in Gmail and export the list to desktop again (select Outlook csv format)
5. Delete all contacts from Outlook and import the file from previous step.
6. Go to step 7-9 of USING MEDIA CARD
NOTE: You can't simply export from Nokia PC Suite using .csv then import to Outlook bec of error.

To end: count then share blessings like Web traffic exchange to others

  1. obviously like your web site but you need to take a look at the spelling on several of your posts.
Several of them are rife with spelling problems and I to find it very bothersome to inform
the truth on the other hand I'll definitely come again again.
