The reason why we have to constantly use defragmentation on pc is to remove the fragmented parts on the HDD. The computer will locate the files in an easier way when all files are saved after the other and not the other way around. It will make the computer faster in retreiving and saving information to and from your harddrive. It is quite easy to do this. Follow these steps, and make sure that you don’t have other programs running before starting the process, ayt!
1. Go to Start -> All Programs -> Accessories -> System -> System Tools -> Defragmenter
2. Select C:\ drive, the default drive for windows and for your files, then click Defragment button.
3. After doing so, restart the pc. You’re done!
