how to enable or disable autorun in cd

Turning the autorun on and off is changing some items in the registry. To access the registry:

in XP: Click Start, Run, then on the box, type regedit, then Enter

in Vista: Click Start, type regedit, the press Enter

Look for this:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\CDRom

Now look for the word Autorun, to disable set value to 0, to enable set value to 1. After that, you need to restart the pc so that the changes will take effect.
