How to display volume icon on the system tray

Click on "Start" then "Control Panel"
A. If in Category View:
1. Click "Sound, Speech and Audio Devices"
2. "Sound and Audio Devices
3. Check the box labeled "Place volume icon in the task bar"
4. Then OK to close all the windows.
B. If in Classic View:
1. Click "Sound and Audio Devices"
2. In Volume tab, check the box that says "Place volume in the taskbar"
3. Then OK all the windows.
